Do I need to be home during treatment?

No. Our technicians can treat your property whether you're home or away. We'll send you a notification when we're on our way and when we're done.

What if I see pests between treatments?

Just give us a call. We offer complimentary retreats between your scheduled treatments as part of our satisfaction guarantee.

How often do you treat my property?

Depending on the program you choose, we visit every 14-21 days. This schedule provides the most consistent protection from mosquitoes and ticks.

Is your natural treatment as effective as the traditional option?

Both options provide effective pest control. The traditional treatment typically has a longer residual, while the natural treatment is a great choice for customers who prefer to avoid synthetic chemicals.

How does your mosquito and tick treatment work?

Our barrier spray targets mosquitoes and ticks where they live, breed, and rest. We treat the perimeter of your yard, shaded areas, dense vegetation, and hard-to-reach spots. The treatment reduces populations by up to 90%.

How effective is your treatment?

Our barrier spray program can reduce mosquito and tick populations by up to 90%. We target the areas where pests live, breed, and rest for maximum effectiveness.

What is Bifenthrin?

Bifenthrin is a synthetic form of compounds found in chrysanthemum flowers. Rather than growing millions of acres of flowers just to destroy them, scientists figured out how to replicate them in liquid form for use as a pesticide.

Do you offer an all-natural treatment option?

Yes. Our all-natural treatment is composed of lemongrass, cedarwood, and other essential oils. We mix in garlic and a sticking agent the same way we do with our traditional spray. The essential oils are toxic to insects but harmless to people and pets.

What's in your traditional pesticide?

Our traditional spray is a blend of Bifenthrin, garlic, and a sticking agent that helps the treatment last longer through rain and direct sunlight.

What services does Mosquito Mike offer?

We offer mosquito and tick control, winter tick defense, and foundation treatment for crawling insects. Foundation treatment is available in Massachusetts and Rhode Island only. All locations offer mosquito/tick control and winter tick defense.

What Are Common Pest Control Methods?

Common pest control methods include chemical treatments, traps, baits, and natural remedies. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is also a popular approach that combines multiple strategies for effective pest control while minimizing environmental impact.

How Often Should I Schedule Pest Control?

The frequency of pest control services depends on several factors, including the type of pests, the severity of the infestation, and the specific environment. Generally, it is recommended to have regular inspections and treatments at least once every few months to prevent infestations.

Benefits of Pest Control

Effective pest control provides numerous benefits, including the protection of health by reducing the risk of disease transmission, safeguarding property from damage caused by pests, and enhancing the overall quality of life by creating a more comfortable living environment.

Safety

How long do I need to stay off the lawn after treatment?

About 30 minutes, or until the product dries. After that, your yard is ready to enjoy.

Is the treatment safe for my kids and pets?

Yes. Our traditional spray's primary ingredient is labeled for use in both kennels and greenhouses. It's not considered harmful to pets or children when used properly. We just ask that you keep kids and pets off the lawn for about 30 minutes after each application while the product dries.

Pricing & Plans

Use our online quote form. Just enter your address and you'll get instant pricing based on your property size. You can also call us at (844) 750-6453.

What information do I need to get a quote?

Just your address. We use property data to estimate your yard size and provide accurate pricing. No site visit required for a quote.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Not for most plans. The Pay As You Go, Prepaid Season, and Summer plans have no long-term contract. The Annual Protection Plan requires a 12-month commitment with monthly payments.

What's included in every plan?

Every plan includes mosquito protection, tick protection, flea protection, and our satisfaction guarantee (complimentary retreats if you experience pest activity between treatments).

What's the difference between your plans?

We offer four options: Pay As You Go (no contract, pay per visit, minimum 7 applications), Prepaid Season Plan (best value, pay upfront for 10, 12, or 14 treatments, new clients get first treatment free), Summer Plan (6 treatments from Memorial Day through Labor Day), and Annual Protection Plan (monthly payments spread over 12 months, coverage from April through mid-October). All plans include mosquito, tick, and flea protection plus our satisfaction guarantee.

How much does treatment cost?

Two factors determine pricing: the number of applications and the size of your yard. Someone signing up for a full season pays less per application than someone who just wants a single spray for an event. Get a free quote online with instant pricing based on your address.
