Terms of Service

Effective date: April 3, 2023

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Mosquito Mike provides mosquito, tick, and pest control across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We provide mosquito and tick control to the Raleigh Triangle in North Carolina. These terms apply when you schedule service with us. Questions about anything below? Call (844) 750-6453 or email [email protected].

The Mosquito Mike Guarantee

If you find yourself still being bitten by mosquitoes or your treated pest pressure persists, we will re-treat your property for mosquitoes, ticks, or fleas, or other treated pest at no additional cost between scheduled applications. Once a re-treatment is scheduled, the following application cannot be canceled or rescheduled. If canceled or rescheduled, the re-treatment will incur a charge for the re-treatment application.

The Guarantee covers the full sprayable area of your property. Sprayable area means the part of your property that actually needs treatment — not your total lot size. If you own three acres and only one acre needs treating, treating that acre is full coverage. However, if you ask us to treat only part of the sprayable area, we cannot build enough defense to stand behind the result, and the Guarantee does not apply.

Plan coverage listed below.

Our Plans

Pay As You Go

Bi-weekly service, priced per application, based on a minimum of 7 applications. If you cancel before completing the seventh application, you are responsible for paying the remaining balance, regardless of whether the remaining applications are completed. Covered by the Mosquito Mike Guarantee.

Prepaid Season

Bi-weekly service, paid in full up front. By paying in full, you agree to receive the number of applications you have paid for. Covered by the Mosquito Mike Guarantee.

Summer Plan

Tri-weekly service through the summer season, paid in full up front. Covered by the Mosquito Mike Guarantee.

Annual Protection Plan

Tri-weekly coverage billed over twelve monthly payments. This plan runs for 12 months from your initial application and renews automatically for another 12 months at the end of that term, unless you tell us otherwise. If you cancel early, you will owe the lesser of $495 or the remaining balance for unpaid months. Covered by the Mosquito Mike Guarantee.

Monthly

Monthly service, generally chosen by properties that do not have a mosquito problem. The Mosquito Mike Guarantee applies to this plan for ticks only.

Event Protection

A single application on a date you choose. Because you are not on a regular treatment schedule, the Mosquito Mike Guarantee does not apply.

Winter Tick Defense

Tick treatment on a roughly six-week cycle through the winter months, November through March. Covered by the Mosquito Mike Guarantee.

General Insect Treatment

Our General Insect Treatment is an exterior, prevention-focused program, available in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It is not remediation of an active infestation inside your home.

Because we do not perform interior inspections, we cannot guarantee this service the way we guarantee our mosquito and tick work. What we do commit to is working the problem with you. While you are on the plan, that includes providing ant bait and scheduling additional treatments where they make sense. If something is not working, tell us — we would rather help solve the issue than leave you with a pest problem.

Same-Day Cancellation Policy

We will notify you via text, phone, or email the day before your scheduled application and send a reminder prior to our arrival. To avoid a late cancellation fee, you must cancel before we send the reminder notification. If you cancel after this notification or after the technician’s arrival, you are entitled to one courtesy cancellation per season. Any subsequent late cancellations will incur a $25 fee.

Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided for any prepaid or unused applications. Instead, remaining applications can be transferred to another residence within our service area or carried forward to the following treatment season if necessary. If you are unsatisfied with our service, we will provide an additional application at no extra cost if eligible under the Mosquito Mike Guarantee. We are committed to resolving your concerns, including conducting a site visit if needed.

Your Property, Pets, and Re-Entry

You do not need to be home to receive treatment. You are giving us permission to enter the outside of your property, including any gated areas you have told us about. If we cannot reach an area — a locked gate, a loose dog, an obstruction — we will treat what we can reach, and that visit counts as an application.

Please keep people and pets off treated areas until they dry, which is normally about 30 minutes. If the label on the product we use specifies a different re-entry time, that one applies and we will tell you.

Please let us know about anything we should work around: beehives, vegetable gardens, ponds and water features, or anything else we should know about when performing our treatments. We cannot account for what we do not know about.

Weather

Rain, wind, and temperature can make an application less effective or unsafe to perform. We may move a scheduled visit because of weather, and doing so is not a cancellation or a breach of these terms.

Text Messages

If you provide your mobile phone number, you agree to receive automated text messages from Mosquito Mike for appointment notifications, reminders, and review requests. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Licensing and Insurance

Our applications are performed by or under the supervision of licensed applicators, and we carry general liability insurance. Massachusetts Pesticide License AL-0056150 · Rhode Island License 6863 · North Carolina License 026-40208.
